The Works of God

What does God do?

God is working, and I can trust Him.

By the end of this plan, your child will have followed a broad journey through what God does: creating and caring for His world, keeping His promises, rescuing His people and bringing salvation through Jesus. You will have explored why every person matters as someone made in God's image, and noticed His provision through food, animals, rain and growing seasons. From His promise to Abraham, the journey follows Israel's rescue through the sea, settlement in the promised land and God's promise of a lasting King from David's family.

The journey then centres on Jesus: His welcome of children, His authority over storms, sin and death, His death for sinners and His resurrection. Your child will have heard that salvation is God's gift, that Jesus will reign forever, and that God gives His Spirit and gathers His church. God's people's return from exile shows His continuing faithfulness. Lessons about prayer, resurrection and Revelation's promise of a world made new give you reasons to thank God and trust Him together.
