Big truths for little children
Little children can begin to know the God revealed in Scripture. We speak simply about who He is and what He has done, helping children hear His Word, learn why we need Jesus and begin to respond with trust, thanks and prayer.
This stage is for ages 2 through Grade R, cared for in a separate space during the church's Sunday School window. Each session allows 45 minutes, with a short participatory Bible account and generous time to look, move, play and make. Grade R children can also join junior primary where that suits the local group.

Find what you need for each lesson
Overview and preparation gives you the Bible passage, the central truth and the shape of the session, then helps you understand the passage and speak faithfully. Lesson provides the running order, suggested words and complete activity instructions. Downloads brings together the teaching pictures and printable resources.
One truth, many ways to join in
Return to the same truth through listening, looking, moving and making. Younger children may watch, point or copy an action. Older children can name, retell and explain a simple connection. Offer a quiet or seated choice, allow time to settle and welcome participation without making every child speak.
Practical help for every Sunday
The lesson tells you what to gather, how much you need, what to print, how to set up and how to tidy away. Reusable pictures, familiar materials and a no-print option help you prepare for the group in front of you. Activities serve the Bible truth and leave room for patient care.
Teaching in the home?
Little Ones at Home supports parents and caregivers in ordinary family life. Home and church contribute in their own ways; neither depends on completing the other's lessons.
